# Freightfall

> Freightfall is a free multiplayer space game in your browser. Fly your first runs yourself, then give your fleet standing orders that keep mining, hauling and escorting while you're logged out.

## Game facts

- Browser-based persistent space economy and multiplayer PvP sandbox; no download required.
- In active development. Features and balance can change.
- Gameplay requires a verified, non-anonymous account. New players start with a Courier ship and a damaged private home.
- Mine asteroids, take hauling contracts, trade physical cargo, fight, expand stations, research capabilities and build a fleet.
- Ships can run standing orders (harvest runs, freight routes, escorts) that continue while the player is logged out. Construction, research, ship builds, mining rigs, market listings and auctions also continue offline.
- Goods occupy finite storage and must be physically transported.
- The player is an operation that persists between sessions. Destroyed ships are lost for good; the operation and its other holdings survive. Wreck cargo can be recovered.
- Free to play. Premium is an optional monthly subscription; consult the pricing page for current terms and benefits.
