Freightfall
Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Freightfall, the browser-based multiplayer game operated by OGRE Software AB. Its public information site is freightfall.app, and the playable game is at play.freightfall.app. By creating an account or playing the game, you agree to these terms.
The service
Freightfall is an evolving online game. Features, balance, worlds, and availability may change as the game develops. We may modify, pause, reset, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve it.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. Do not sell, transfer, or share an account in a way that harms other players or the service. Contact contact@ogre.se if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- harass other players or use the service for unlawful or abusive conduct;
- cheat, automate play, exploit defects, or interfere with fair multiplayer operation;
- probe, attack, overload, or bypass the security of Freightfall or its providers;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to OGRE Software AB or Freightfall; or
- use the service or its content in a way that infringes another person's rights.
Competition, combat, trade, and loss that occur through the intended game systems are part of Freightfall and are not, by themselves, abusive conduct.
Virtual holdings
Credits, ships, cargo, stations, and other game holdings are features of the service. They have no guaranteed real-world value, are not legal tender, and do not create ownership of the underlying software or game world. Unless Freightfall explicitly introduces a supported transaction, virtual holdings may not be sold or exchanged for real money.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is an optional subscription that gives you a Starpass with guild founding eligibility, custom station hull colors and a registry badge. It costs SEK 50 per month, including tax, and renews monthly until canceled. This is the base price in Swedish kronor. Where available, Stripe Checkout offers payment in your local currency. The converted amount includes Stripe's currency conversion fee and may change with exchange rates at renewal. The price, currency, and renewal terms are shown before you pay. Stripe processes payments and provides subscription management.
Guild founding also requires an in-game credit fee. Joining and ordinary guild administration do not require Premium, and existing guilds survive subscription expiry.
Open Settings → Manage plan in the game to manage your subscription or cancel renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep your Starpass through the period you have already paid for. You can continue playing Free afterward.
For billing problems or refund requests, contact contact@ogre.se. We review refund requests through support. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these terms, protect players, comply with law, or secure the service. You may stop using Freightfall at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep Freightfall reliable, but an online game cannot be guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and OGRE Software AB is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Freightfall changes. We will update the date above and announce material changes in the game before they take effect when reasonably possible. Continuing to use the service after an update takes effect means the updated terms apply.
